THE SMALLEST StaIN
Alexia was shopping for a wedding dress when she discovered perfect beauty. The dress was so white that it shone like the sun. It was so beautiful, she could hardly stand it. Call it love at first sight, for she loved that dress with all of her heart and all of her soul. The price was exhorbitant, but she absolutely had to have it. So she sold all of her stocks as well as some of her most prized possessions. She figured that she would wear the dress on her wedding day and then sell it. She probably wouldn't get as much money as she paid for it, but she would still get a lot of her money back.
On her wedding day, she couldn't stop staring at herself in the mirror. She had never looked so stunningly beautiful. She completely lost track of time until it was almost time for the wedding to begin. She was running down the hall, when suddenly she tripped on her dress. Fortunately, her chest hit the ground first, so she suffered no serious injuries. But she would have preferred a concussion and brain damage to what happened. For a splinter on the wooden floor was pointing up, and it pierced her left breast. When she stood up, a few drops of blood emerged from the wound and soaked into the dress. When she saw the stain, she began to cry uncontrollably. There was no way she could wear this dress now, and nobody would ever buy it, because it was completely worthless.
This is what it is like when you commit the smallest sin against a perfect God.
