The third inaccurate version of the theory of evolution refers to
groups of
creatures that can interbreed. Three examples of such groups are humans, dogs, and fruit flies. This version of the theory says that the characteristics of members of such a group change from one generation to the next. If you disagree with this one, you believe that there is somebody in your parents’ generation who has the same eye color, height, and blood type as you. You also believe that there is a man in your generation that has the same characteristics as your father and a woman in your generation that matches your mother in every way. In fact, in your mind, each person in your parents’ generation has an identical twin in your generation. Although it would be quite difficult to prove that that isn’t true, I’m sure you don’t believe it. This version of the theory of evolution is obviously true.
